Conditions for admission to 1st grade
Dear parents, in connection with the introduction of amendments to the Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 12, 2018 No. 564 “On approval of the Model Rules for Admission to Educational Organizations Implementing General Educational Programs of Primary, Basic Secondary and General Secondary Education” regarding admission to the 1st grade of an aesthetic-oriented gymnasium for the 2024-2025 academic year, we hereby inform you of the following:
1. According to the official letter of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan to educational organizations, admission to gymnasiums and lyceums for the 1st grade is carried out on the basis of applications submitted by parents, regardless of the level of preparation of children. (selection is not carried out)
2. Due to the lack of an educational organization providing education in a mixed language in the microdistrict where the gymnasium building is located, and due to the intensive migration with the construction of new multi-storey buildings every year, the number of students studying in the gymnasium is increasing every year, and today about 1800 students are studying in a building with 450 seats. Therefore, due to the shortage of places in the gymnasium, the gymnasium is becoming a three-shift educational organization. In this regard, the gymnasium administration plans to open 3 classes with a class size of 25 students for the 2024-2025 academic year. 2 classes will be formed in Kazakh, 1 class in Russian. A total of 75 students.
3. Admission of students to grade 1 for the 2024-2025 academic year will be in 2024.
It will be conducted electronically through the “e-gov.kz” portal from April 1 to August 31.
List of required documents:
1. Application from the child’s parents or other legal representatives;
2. Copy of birth certificate;
3. electronic copies of health documents (forms No. 063/e and No. 026/e-3);
4. A digital photograph of the child, size 3×4 cm;
