Development of Sports Clubs in the Process of Extracurricular Education
The process of extracurricular education is rapidly developing in accordance with the annual plan. Compared to the 2023–2024 academic year, the number of students participating in sports clubs has significantly increased in 2024–2025. This growth reflects the increased interest in sports and the results of efforts aimed at strengthening students’ health.
The increased participation in sports clubs is influenced by the following factors:

Variety of Clubs: Currently, the gymnasium offers various sports sections, including volleyball, table tennis, asyk (traditional game), togyz kumalak (traditional board game), skiing, football, arm wrestling, and athletics.

Professionalism of Instructors: The clubs are led by experienced coaches and physical education specialists, which increases students’ engagement and provides opportunities for their professional development.

Student Activity: Students actively participate not only in club activities but also in city and regional competitions, achieving high results.

Improved Sports Infrastructure: The gymnasium has updated its sports equipment and offers new opportunities for physical activities.
In 2024, the number of students involved in sports clubs has doubled, and their physical fitness and motivation to lead a healthy lifestyle have reached a high level. This indicates that systematic work in the sports direction will continue in the future.
Growth in the Number of Students Participating in Sports Clubs (2023–2024)
In the 2023–2024 academic year, the gymnasium operated 8 sports clubs, with an average of 15 students per club. Although the number of clubs has decreased to 7 currently, the number of participants in each club has increased to 20–25 students.

If the number of participants increased from 120 to 140, the growth is +16.7%.

These indicators demonstrate not only an increased interest in sports among gymnasium students but also the quality and effectiveness of the clubs’ work. Active participation in sports clubs positively affects students’ health and physical development. Moreover, it reflects the high level of organization of physical education classes and sports events at the school.

On October 6, 2025, the city arm wrestling tournament among youth, organized by the “Oral” Sports Club, was held in the city of Oral. The students of our gymnasium participated in the competition and achieved outstanding results:

On October 30, 2024, the regional mixed martial arts (MMA) championship was held. Three athletes from our school participated in this prestigious competition and demonstrated a high level of skill and determination.

On January 8, 2025, a city-level skiing competition was held. Students from our gymnasium participated in the event and achieved impressive results.

This success also plays an important role in promoting a healthy lifestyle among students. The gymnasium team proudly represented the school and showed excellent performance. Continued active participation in future sports events is planned.

On January 16–17, 2025, the city of Oral hosted a City Spartakiad among general education school teachers. Teachers from our gymnasium actively participated in the event and demonstrated notable results in several sports disciplines.

The active participation of teachers in this Spartakiad served as an important step in promoting a healthy lifestyle, strengthening team unity, and increasing interest in physical education and sports. The gymnasium team demonstrated strong teamwork and achieved commendable results in several events. In the future, we plan to further enhance teachers’ involvement in sports and contribute to the development of mass sports activities.


On January 19, 2025, a regional skiing tournament was held. A student of our gymnasium, Amina Tazhgaliyeva, from Grade 5Zh, participated in the competition and demonstrated an excellent performance.

This achievement is the result of Amina’s active involvement and consistent preparation. Special recognition is given to her coach, Panfilov P.N., for his dedicated training and significant contribution to her success.
By winning a prize at the regional tournament, Amina brought pride to our gymnasium. We believe this is one of the first major milestones in her journey as a young athlete.


Between January 25–26, 2025, a regional mixed martial arts (MMA) tournament was held among students. Gymnasium students performed at a high level and secured prize-winning places.

The gymnasium students gave a worthy performance at the regional tournament and earned recognition through their achievements. This serves as a clear indicator of the effective work being done to promote sports, strengthen students’ physical preparedness, and boost their motivation.


On February 19–20, 2025, the Republic of Kazakhstan Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Championship was held.
At this prestigious national event, our gymnasium’s physical education teacher — Temirtasov A.B., an Asian medalist, three-time Kazakhstan champion, and three-time world champion — achieved outstanding results and secured another major victory.
Temirtasov A.B. was awarded the honorary title of "Best MMA Champion of the Republic of Kazakhstan."
This remarkable achievement is a testament to our teacher’s relentless dedication, professional mastery, and enduring path in the world of sports. His success is not only a personal triumph, but also a powerful source of inspiration and motivation for students and aspiring young athletes.


On February 22, 2025, a national-level sports tournament was held among teachers of general education institutions and instructors of technical and vocational education organizations.
The gymnasium staff actively participated in the competition and achieved excellent results in several sports disciplines:

In 2025, the 7th City “Health” Spartakiad was held among trade union members, organized by the Oral City Committee – branch of the Sectoral Trade Union of Education, Science, and Higher Education Workers of Kazakhstan (West Kazakhstan Region).
Teachers from 52 schools, representing Physical Education, Basics of Life Safety and Civil Defense (PE & BLS) departments, took part in the event and competed in several sports, including volleyball, table tennis, and darts.

On March 13, a regional skiing tournament was held, in which several students from our gymnasium took part and achieved prize-winning results.

From May 17 to 19, a regional sports competition was held, where the Oral city team demonstrated outstanding performance and secured 2nd place.
Among the team members, our gymnasium’s physical education teacher, Amanat Azamatuly, stood out with exceptional skill and professionalism. As a result of his impressive performance, he was honored with the title of "Best Athlete of the Region".
This achievement is a testament to his dedication to sports and his contribution to promoting a healthy lifestyle within the educational community.

On May 19–20, the traditional "Leather Ball" football tournament was held at the city level among school students. A team composed of 7th–8th grade students from our gymnasium participated in the competition and achieved a prize-winning 3rd place.

On April 29, 2025, the Republic of Kazakhstan Championship in target shooting was held. The competition was organized at a high level, bringing together talented athletes from across the country.
Our gymnasium’s 10th grade “B” class student, Kraidena Alisa, participated in the tournament and demonstrated exceptional skill. During the competition, Alisa stood out with her outstanding performance and won 1st place.
This remarkable achievement highlights her dedication, discipline, and high level of preparation.


From May 2 to 4, 2025, a citywide individual championship in the national intellectual sport Togyzkumalak was held in Oral city. The competition brought together 98 participants from various schools and sports clubs across the city. The event was organized at a high level, with intense competition among the participants.

On May 8, 2025, a traditional table tennis tournament was held among the gymnasium staff to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.
The main objectives of the event were to honor the heroism of war veterans, instill a sense of patriotism in the younger generation, promote a healthy lifestyle among teachers, and strengthen team unity within the school.
Teachers from all methodological associations of the gymnasium actively took part in the tournament. Several representatives from each association participated, making the competition a vibrant and spirited event filled with friendship and healthy rivalry.
Throughout the tournament, teachers demonstrated their skills, showing a high level of enthusiasm and teamwork.


From May 15 to 18, 2025, the city of Dergachi, Saratov Region (Russian Federation), hosted an international boxing tournament dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. The competition brought together young athletes from multiple countries, each competing to demonstrate their strength and skill.
Among the participants was Talgar Nurislam, a student of class 6 “V” at our gymnasium. Displaying exceptional skill, endurance, and determination, he achieved 1st place in his category. This remarkable accomplishment marks one of his first major victories at the international level.
Talgar Nurislam’s success is the result of his daily training, strong discipline, perseverance, and the dedicated guidance of his coach, Mukhambetov E.G.

2. Increase in Club Participation
In 2023, sports clubs attracted 15–20 students, while in 2024, this number increased to 20–25 students.
The arm-wrestling section saw a 40% increase in the number of participants.
There was also a noticeable rise in new members joining the Togyzkumalak and chess clubs.
3. Overall Results

The number of participants increased, indicating a growing interest in sports.

The number of prize-winning places also rose, showing improved athletic performance compared to the previous year.

The effectiveness of club activities improved, with both students and teachers demonstrating high achievements in professional competitions.

Academic Year: 2024–2025
In the 2024–2025 academic year, a series of consistent and systematic physical education activities were conducted in accordance with the approved educational and upbringing plan of the gymnasium. These events aimed to improve students’ physical fitness, promote national sports, foster a healthy lifestyle, and cultivate a culture of sportsmanship.
The activities were organized in various formats, including sports tournaments, masterclasses, national games, festivals, educational sessions, open lessons, and celebratory competitions.
